Your business or Organisation may be eligible if:

  • You register a Trainee (Existing Worker or New Worker) between 5 October 2020 and 31 March 2022, and
  • You are a business, organisation or Local Council…
  • Eligible Employees…
  • They need to be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand citizen who has been here over 6 months. They can have any existing qualifications (anything from Certificate I to a PhD or MBA) or no qualifications at all. They can be Experienced and at any level of the organisation.
  • Your Trainee is undertaking a Certificate II or higher qualification and has a training contract that is formally approved by the state training authority.

Any business, organisation, Local council that registers an Australian Apprentice or Trainee up to 31 March 2022, may be eligible for a subsidy of 50 percent of wages paid to a Trainee or Apprentice, to a maximum of $7,000 per quarter.

  • Sign up your employees as a New Worker Trainee or as an Existing Worker Trainee in one of our eligible courses
  • The employer receives a Federal 50% Wage subsidy – Up to $28,000 per person– 4 x $7000 per quarter
  • The employer pays course fees
  • Enrol before 31 March 2022.

  • Available for Private Employers, Organisations and Local Councils
Employers of any size, or industry, Australia-wide who commence a Traineeship or Australian Apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 31 March 2022 may be eligible under this program.

Existing Employees… Choose 1 of the following courses for each of your employees – course must relate to their job:

  • Upskill your people in Workplace Health and Safety and the latest communication strategies. After completion of the 12-month program, participants will gain their BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety qualification. Then only an optional extra 4-7 units to finish an additional Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or Project Management or Business OR
  • For Civil Construction Companies and Councils: Upskill all your Leading Hands, Supervisors, Project Managers, Foreman and above. After completion of the 12 month program, participants will gain their RII40720 Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) qualification.
New Employees… Choose one of the following qualifications:

  • BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business
  • BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
  • BSB42315 Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability
  • BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • BSB50215 Diploma of Business
  • BSB50618 Diploma of Human Resources Management
  • BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management
  • LGA50712 Diploma of Local Government
  • RII40715 Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision
  • RII50415 Diploma of Civil Construction Management
  • RII60615 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction
