VET Student Loans – Important Information for GTI Students
Global Training Institute (RTO 31192) is approved to offer VET Student Loans (VSL) for selected Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications. This page explains what a VSL is, who is eligible, the fees involved, and your responsibilities as a student.
What is a VET Student Loan?
A VET Student Loan is a loan from the Australian Government that helps eligible full-fee-paying students pay their tuition fees for approved courses. The loan:
– becomes a personal debt you must repay through the tax system
– remains owing until fully repaid
– may reduce your take-home pay and borrowing capacity while it is being repaid
You may wish to seek independent financial advice before applying.
