Academic Suitability: Proof of completing:
– Year 12/Senior Certificate; or
– Certificate III + 2 years relevant work experience; or
– Pass a GTI Language, Literacy and Numeracy test
Industry Experience: Must have supervisory experience and must be currently employed in a supervisory role with an ability to complete practical tasks that may involve other people. Can be completed through role plays with trainer or recorded as part of the submission.

It is a nationally recognised entry-level leadership qualification for people stepping into their first supervisory or team-leader role, or already doing that job without the title. It formalises the front-line leadership you are already showing. It is made up of 12 nationally recognised units (BSB40520).
Across 12 units you build the core toolkit of a front-line leader: leading teams, communicating with influence, managing performance, and supporting a safe and effective workplace.
