To make sure this course is the right fit and that you’re set up for success, you’ll need to meet the following entry requirements.Age: 21 Years or over; or
If under 21 (must be over 18), have a Certificate III + 2 years relevant work experience; or
If under 21 (must be over 18), have proof of high level of skills that may lead to an interview for possible enrolment
Academic Suitability: Proof of completing:
– Year 12/Senior Certificate; or
– Certificate III + 2 years relevant work experience; or
– Pass a GTI Language, Literacy and Numeracy test
Industry Experience: Must have supervisory experience and must be currently employed in a supervisory role with an ability to complete practical tasks that may involve other people. Can be completed through role plays with trainer or recorded as part of the submission.
Industry Experience: Currently employed in Civil Construction as a
Leading Hand or Supervisor, or able to undertake these roles on a
training basis on a civil construction site e.g. (run pre-start meetings, complete safety forms…); or
recently employed as a Leading Hand or Supervisor within the past 2 years
