Build the Capability You Already Use Every Day
In organisational development, you’re often the person guiding people, processes and culture through constant change — even without official authority. This qualification strengthens the capability behind influence, improvement and innovation, helping you shape better workplaces with confidence.People who work in organisational development often step into complex, sensitive challenges — helping teams adapt, guiding communication, improving workplace culture, or supporting innovation without always having formal frameworks to lean on. You may already be the “go-to” person for team issues, engagement initiatives or improvement activities, but without recognised capability, career progression can feel slow or uncertain.
The BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Organisational Development) helps you build the practical skills behind structured OD work, including communication leadership, emotional intelligence, innovation, risk management, continuous improvement and workplace sustainability. You’ll learn how to support organisational change, guide thinking across teams, improve workplace relationships, and develop environments where people and performance both thrive.
This stream is ideal for those working in HR, culture, change, training, organisational capability, engagement, or people-focused business roles — or preparing to step into these positions.
