Build the Capability You Already Use Every Day
In operations roles, you’re often the person keeping everything moving — solving problems, preventing bottlenecks, and holding teams together when systems fall behind. This qualification helps you formalise those skills and build the capability to lead operations with confidence.Operations professionals often become the backbone of an organisation — solving issues before others notice, coordinating people and resources, and keeping work flowing even when systems, communication or priorities shift suddenly. But without formal training, it can be hard to progress into higher responsibility or demonstrate the strategic value of the work you already do.
The BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Operations) develops the structured capability needed to plan, improve and support operational performance across diverse business environments. You’ll build clearer processes, strengthen resource planning, support team efficiency, and guide continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity and reduce risk.
Through workplace-based assessments, you’ll learn how to streamline workflows, manage budgets, coordinate meetings, contribute to safe work practices, guide critical thinking across your team, and manage operational plans with confidence.
