As of 01 January 2012, the unit RIIWHS601D Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System Unit (known as G7 Mining Course) is required to be held by a senior member in all mining organisations as defined in the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and as required by the Coal Mining Safety and Health Advisory Council Australia.
