You may be required to meet the below training requirements of the Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program.
learning workers
20 percent of the total project workforce to be made up of ‘learning workers’ (this includes trainees, apprentices and workers who need to update their qualifications to meet the needs of the infrastructure project)
Apprentices
20 percent of all trades positions on a project to be made up of apprentices
APIC
Apply the Aboriginal Participation in Construction Policy
Women Workers
Double the number of women in trade-related work (up from the NSW average of one to two percent)
Age
ensure at least eight percent of the total project workforce is aged less than 25 years
Local region
Report employment and training outcomes for people from the local region (the local region is defined in the contract)

Training Delivery
During these COVID times, we are able to provide your people with
- Over phone individual training sessions with their trainer
- Online – access to resources and fortnightly individual phone sessions with Trainer
- Remote Learning – Trainer beamed into classroom + then individual phone sessions with Trainer (Group classes)
- Assessments for all training are based on your projects and workplace systems, policies and procedures.

If you require skills training and not a full qualification, we are able to design this with you. Skills training that is directly linked to the delivery of your specific project works on-site, usually consists of skill sets – 2-4 units.
As an approved Smart and Skilled Providers we are able to submit Training Needs Identifications (TNI’s) under the Smart & Skilled Targeted Priorities Part Qualification Program (TPPPQ). As with any part qualification application, there is an assessment process – approval is not automatic.
